These programs are not just recreational, they are outcome-focused support services that align with each participant’s individual NDIS goals and support needs.
Our programs support participants to:

Each session is delivered by trained staff who work with participants in ratios suited to their needs (e.g. 1:1, 1:2), following NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.
For participants aged 5-17, Cahoots offers the following programs:
Social Recreation Club
Social Recreation Club is designed for participants with a care ratio of 1:2. Participants are encouraged to engage with each other and the local community through a variety of activities, including sports, crafts, and outings. Step into High Support is tailored to participants requiring a care ratio of 1:1. Step into High Support provides a safe and supported environment for participants to enjoy the local community, taking part in activities that focus on their individual and sensory needs in a small group setting. IMPORTANT: To be placed into a medium support service, the participant must have first completed an assessment on one of our day programs. The aim of the medium support service is to provide participants the opportunity to push some boundaries that they may not have been able to previously, as well as provide opportunities to socialise and participate in group activities in a supportive and safe environment. Our medium support services aim to enhance the participants' independence by utilising different modes of transport, experiencing engaging and interactive activities, and taking part in life skills development. Ages: 12-17 Care Ratio: Mix of 1:1 and 1:2 Time: Drop off is at 8.30am. Pick up is at 3.30pm. Cost: To view the price guide, click here. - Direct support by trained staff during all scheduled activities
- Capacity Building and Social & Community Participation support aligned with NDIS goals
- Coordination, planning, risk management, and admin
- Implementation of participant behaviour and communication strategies
- Supervision and support throughout the session
- Quality, safeguarding, and insurance
❌ What’s Not Covered by NDIS Funding:
- Entry fees for venues or events
- Food and snacks (if provided)
- General materials or equipment for activities
These costs may be covered by Cahoots through donor support or may be charged separately, depending on the activity.
NDIS funding may be available through Core Supports or Capacity Building categories, depending on your plan and goals.

Throughout their experience, participants have the opportunity to grow their independence, build friendships, social skills and have a whole lot of fun, whilst providing respite to parents.
