About this Program: Age : 10-17 Care Ratio: 1:2 or 1:3 Description: The social recreation program runs every Saturday in Term 1, 2019. We will have lots of fun playing soccer, trying basketball and other sports as well as engaging in recreation. We often combine with camp programs to increase group size and socialization opportunities. Volunteer Induction Training
The volunteer training induction is mandatory for every volunteer in Cahoots camps and programs. The 3 hour session will cover important aspects of volunteering with young people and adults living with disability. It details the history of Cahoots, as well as duty of care and safeguarding, working with people with disabilities and other social barriers, and challenging behaviours.
