Please note: Some dates may be fully booked or have limited availability.    Kids: Click here Teens: Click here  About our Program:  Cahoots  provides structured, group-based community supports that are designed to build skills, boost independence, and increase social participation for children and young people living with a disability.  These programs are not just recreational, they are outcome-focused support services that align with each participant’s individual NDIS goals and support needs.  Our programs support participants to:  Develop independent living skills through guided activities  Strengthen social and communication skills in groups settings  Practice emotional regulation and teamwork in safe settings  Access the community with support (e.g., outings, using public transport)  Build confidence and routine outside of school or home environments  Each session is delivered by trained staff who work with participants in ratios suited to their needs (e.g., 1:1, 1:2), following NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.  Important Note:  Participants and their families are encouraged to ensure the line items used to claim these supports are listed in their NDIS plan.  If you are unsure, please speak with your LAC, Support Coordinator or MyNDIS contact. Cahoots is happy to provide a detailed breakdown of support services to help with this process.  Cahoots charges:   ✔️ What’s Included Under NDIS-Funded Support:  Direct support by trained staff during all scheduled activities  Capacity Building and Social & Community Participation support aligned with NDIS goals  Coordination, planning, risk management and admin   Implementation of participant behaviour and communication strategies  Supervision and support throughout the session  Quality, safeguarding, and insurance    ❌ What’s Not Covered by NDIS Funding:  Entry fees for venues or events  Food and snacks (if provided)  General materials or equipment for activities  These costs may be covered by Cahoots through donor support or may be charged separately, depending on the activity. For four-hour Saturday sessions, participants are kindly asked to bring their own lunchbox with meals; snacks will be provided.  NDIS funding may be available through Core Supports or Capacity Building categories, depending on your plan and goals.  For participants without funding please contact [email protected] .  For a full-price guide, click here.
