Climb With Cahoots this Telethon Weekend!

Join us at the Telethon Family Festival.

This weekend Cahoots will be heading to the 2025 Telethon Family Festival and we couldn’t be more excited! This Sunday, October 19, from 10 AM to 4 PM, Wellington Street in Perth will come alive with music, laughter, and community spirit as families gather in support of Telethon. Stretching from RAC Arena to Yagan Square, the festival is completely free to enter and packed with activities that celebrate creativity, connection, and fun.

This year’s theme, “Find Your Inner Awesome,” is all about embracing what makes you unique and Cahoots is bringing that energy in full force. We’ll be bringing back the climbing wall where everyone can challenge themselves to reach new heights. Our friendly team will be there to chat, share information about our programs, and hand out pamphlets for anyone curious about how we support young people of all abilities.

But that’s not all! We’re also bringing our beloved CHAMPS mindfulness art rock activity. It’s a calming, creative space where kids can paint their own inspirational rocks, reflect on what makes them awesome and take home something special. Whether you’re scaling the climbing wall or sitting down to paint there’s something for everyone at the Cahoots zone.

And for the grown-ups we have an exciting competition available! For any visitors to the Cahoots zone, you can sign up to go in the running to win a $500 gift card thanks to our friends at Beyond Bank!

Beyond the Cahoots zone, the Telethon Family Festival is packed with fun and engaging experiences for all ages. Families can enjoy carnival rides, explore creative workshops, dance it out at silent discos, and take part in community challenges which are all designed to celebrate the spirit of togetherness and giving. If you’re keen to catch the live Telethon broadcast all you need is a small gold coin donation!

Don’t miss this chance to connect, create, and be part of something truly special. Swing by our zone, say hello, and discover how Cahoots is helping young people of all abilities thrive.

Help us, help others

No matter how small, your contribution goes towards helping Cahoots lower the costs for families using our services. Whilst we are NDIS funded, there is often a shortfall between the funding and the cost of our activities, so your donations mean families can still send their loved ones to our camps and programs.

For many, Cahoots is a life changing experience for both the participants who grow, learn and enjoy themselves, but it also provides respite to parents and families from the demands of full time care. Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated.
