Cahoots Connects is a shopping and essential supplies delivery service for people feeling too anxious to get shopping and essential supplies, over the age of 65, living with a disability, experiencing mental health concerns, immunocompromised, of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin, of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds, a carer for any of the above and people experiencing financial hardships. We do your shopping and deliver it to your door free of change, all you need to pay for is the goods purchased.

You can place your order over the phone by calling 1300 103 880, our friendly and experienced call centre team will listen to your individual needs and talk you through how Cahoots Connects can help with a personalised service to suit you, or you can place your order via our online store.

We’ll work with you to create a list of the shopping and essential supplies you need and arrange a date and time slot for your delivery.

We’ll get shopping and essential supplies for you through Woolworths, Foodbank and/or Cahoots Connects essential supplies.

Working in teams of two and adhering to strict safeguarding standards, we deliver to your door or a secure place of your choice.

Cahoots Connects is committed to getting essential supplies to those at risk as our number one priority.  We will be introducing training to assist customers to self-serve via existing online shopping services with confidence in the upcoming months.

ELIGIBILITY

Yes, anyone who has a low immunity is eligible for Cahoots Connects service. This includes, but is not limited to, anyone with an existing condition that causes them to have a low immunity as well as anyone receiving medical treatment that weakens their immunity.

PRODUCTS

During Phase 1, Cahoots Connects will be placing orders through Woolworths and Foodbank however we intend to expand to other supermarket and essential supplies such as Bunnings and Officeworks.

We don’t, but we do partner with Chorus Kitchen and Foodbank who can help.

Foodbank offer a variety of frozen meals, to order please call 1300 103 880 or order online.

Chorus Kitchen offer the choice and convenience of cost effective, healthy meals that are prepared fresh each day to people in WA who are experiencing hardship. Give them a call on 1800 861 617 or checkout their website to order.

Essentials provided by Cahoots Connects include any items available from Woolworths online, plus Foodbank WA hampers, with the exception of alcohol. If using financial support, no gift cards, tobacco or alcohol products are allowed to be purchased.

The minimum order through our supplier is $30, however we do ask that you order enough essentials to last at least a week so that we are able to help as many people as possible through Cahoots Connects.

Cahoots Connects will be following ‘per customer limits’ enforced by supermarkets. 

Please note this is subject to change in accordance with supermarket updates.

Cahoots Connects can refer your call to a pharmacy near you for delivery of essential pharmaceuticals. Basic pharmaceuticals stocked at Supermarkets will be available to purchase through Cahoots Connects. (e.g. paracetamol).  

Although drinking and smoking is not encouraged by Cahoots Connects, we understand breaking addictions during a community crisis such as this pandemic can be difficult. You can order tobacco, but not alcohol products.

Our team will substitute out of stock products where possible.  Please specify, when asked by our call centre staff, if you will not accept substitutes. If a substitute cannot be found, you will not be charged for that product.

Unfortunately Foodbank hampers do not cater for any dietary or religious requirements.

Yes, we will complete a brief check to confirm your eligibility. Our system will identify your details and we can move straight to your next order request. 

Your previous order will be saved under your customer profile and can be used for future orders. We will confirm the items you would like to purchase each time to ensure it is correct.  

If there is an issue with the goods delivered to you or the service you were provided, please contact us on 1300 103 880 and let us know so we can resolve the issue as soon as possible.  

Yes, Cahoots Connects was developed in partnership with the Department of Communities and Western Australian Government.

Woolworths rewards card can be used when placing an order with our online service.
When placing orders through our call support centre customers are unable to use Woolworths rewards cards.

Cahoots Connects  offers next day deliveries* 

*Orders placed before 12pm and within the Perth Metro area will be next day deliveries. We understand the urgency in receiving essential supplies during this community crisis and will endeavour to promptly support those who have critically low essential supplies where possible. 

Cahoots Connects will leave your delivery at your door, or another accessible location you may specify. We can also offer an enter an unpack service for people with access needs or other requirements. We will enter your property and unpack your delivery if we determine it is safe to do so. 

Yes, Cahoots Connects will unpack  your delivery if this is a service that you require, and if it is safe to do.

 Yes, Cahoots Connects is a 100% free service for eligible members of the WA community. Customers only pay for their goods purchased. If you are interested in Cahoots Connects’ service but are experiencing financial hardship and are not able to pay for your order, you may be eligible for emergency food relief. Cahoots Connects has a partnership with the Emergency Relief & Food Access Service and can work with them to determine your eligibility when you call us. The Access Service can also provide support to access financial counselling and other services, if you are interested.

A $1 packaging fee is added by Woolworths for each order, this includes picking, packing and bagging.

SAFETY

Cahoots Connects ensures safety through strict COVID19 processes, safeguarding standards and PPE (personal protective equipment). We follow all government protective guidelines on physical distancing and hygiene and have undertaken the Department of Health training in infection control procedures.   

Some of our safeguarding measures include: 

All Cahoots Connects staff and volunteers will wear the following PPE (personal protective equipment) during shopping and delivery of essential supplies. 

When shopping and conducting door deliveries; 

  • Disposable gloves
  • N95 Disposable masks

When completing and unpacking deliveries; 

  • Disposable gloves
  • N95 Disposable masks
  • Disposable aprons
  • Disposable shoe covers
  • Eye protectors
  • Our service delivery team will only enter a person’s home if it is safe to do so, and with another team member (not alone) – this is to ensure safety for both customers and our team

All Cahoots Connects staff and volunteers undergo extensive screening processes and infection prevention training. 

All Cahoots Connects vehicles will be equipped with dash cams and sanitizing kits. Vehicles are to be cleaned and sanitized after each delivery, prior to the next delivery.
